Bomu Medical centre needs an annual US $ 3M to fund its numerous community and public health programs. A major chunk of this is required to run the HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care Program at Bomu. This is mostly funded by PEPFAR through various US agencies such as CDC and USAID. Other local individual and corporate do give one off donations, but the financial requirement to manage this program effectively is ever increasing. We need your support.
Even though Bomu Medical Centre has some international NGO’s such as IDRF and Project Sunshine to support some of our health interventions that target the extremely poor, the orphaned and vulnerable children, this is not enough. We require Kenyan Corporate sponsors to take up this social responsibility to improve the health of indigent Kenyans; thereby make them productive contributors to the national resource basket.
